Prospective Member Information.
First, thank you for your interest in joining NCBW and advocating on behalf of black women and girls. The women of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. - Greater Knoxville Chapter are active professional leaders who work, invest, and reside within the city of Knoxville and its surrounding counties, with responsible roles within their various professions and communities. We value the amity, sisterly-bonds and networking opportunities the Coalition provides. We view the organization as a vehicle through which we can make valuable contributions to Women of Color - Black Women in particular - and their families.
NCBW Greater Knoxville Chapter uses the following criteria for consideration of prospective members:
Must be at least 25 years of age as of the date listed on their application
Must be of good moral character, outstanding ethical standards and integrity
Must reside within the Greater Knoxville area or surrounding counties (within 75 mile radius)
Must have documented and proven leadership skills and a commitment to purposeful advocacy and service with the community
Must have sponsorship from an active member of the NCBW Greater Knoxville Chapter
